The jewelry on our site is gold filled unless otherwise noted. Gold filled jewelry is far superior to gold plated jewelry in that gold plating has an almost non existent layer of gold.  

Unlike gold plated jewelry, gold filled pieces legally need to feature 5% of gold by weight. As a result, gold filled jewelry is generally more durable due to this thicker layer of gold alloy. It also looks nearly identical to solid gold jewelry, is sturdy enough to wear everyday and costs a fraction of what a comparable gold piece would be. 

Jewelry Care: 

We strongly recommend removing your jewelry before engaging in any activities that can lead to contact with moisture or friction (ie: washing your hands, sleeping, swimming & showering) to maintain luster and prolong life. It is also important to note that lotions and perfumes can cause a breakdown in luster overtime. Please treat your jewelry with care when storing to avoid scratching. We recommend using our soft pouches or individual boxes.
